Motorola Software Fix Tool for Windows

Software Fix, previously known as Rescue and Smart Assistant, is a Windows utility designed for supported Motorola phones, Lenovo phones, and Lenovo tablets.

The tool can help diagnose software problems, reinstall device firmware, install available updates, manage files, create backups, and test selected hardware components.

Main Features

  • Rescue: Reinstall the device software to repair boot, crash, or system problems.
  • Software Update: Download and install available firmware updates.
  • Backup and Restore: Save supported contacts, photos, videos, and files.

Basic Usage

  1. Install Software Fix on your Windows computer.
  2. Open the program and sign in when requested.
  3. Select your device brand and exact model.
  4. Connect the device using a USB cable.
  5. Choose Backup, Update, Hardware Test, or Rescue depending on the problem.

Important: The Rescue process can erase all personal data and return the device to factory settings. Back up important files and remember the Google account previously connected to the device before continuing.
